H&M Oxford Circus
Coin-operated retail installation
Approached by Bon Magazine in Sweden, Blue Steel were tasked to create an in-store photo booth experience in line with H&M‘s Summer jungle range.
Aware of the crowded market place, the fashion retailer was looking for a unique brand experience that would give them a competitive edge, whilst working within a set budget. The solution needed to engage shoppers, promote brand awareness, and operate relatively independently whilst being safe for public use. Working to exceed these objectives, Blue Steel designed a fully customised booth, incorporating anti-tampering measures so the booth did not require constant supervision, and fitted with a coin-operated mechanism so the activation stayed on budget.
Positioned in their Oxford Street flagship store in London, the pay-per-use experience transported guests deep into the jungle by incorporating stimulating sights and sounds.
With the iconic supermodel Gisele Bundchen at the forefront of the H&M campaign, our jungle themed custom photo booth featured a vivid exterior sporting the modeling legend herself either side of the entrance. Seated in front of a lush, leafy backdrop, with ambient rainforest sounds playing from internal speakers, shoppers paid just £2 for four photos in quick succession and a fully branded H&M photo print out.
The booth is in store all Summer long, not only contributing to the in-store experience that is increasingly vital to customer engagement, but also to the bottom line of the business.
