9 Uni’s, 5 States, 1 Week…For V Energy Drink

This week, Blue Steel is stepping up a level in our most intense week to date, during this years university O week. GIFs have taken dominance in photo and video booth’s business over the past 6 months and that’s the basis for this national V Energy Drink activation across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA.
We had less than 2 weeks to plan and implement something special for freshers starting their uni life and in layman’s terms, its the ducks nuts for a student. Unlimited V, a GIF from your new uni with the chance to win $1,000 at each campus for the most creative GIF.
So far we’ve seen many a dab, shoey, and even a cheerleader pyramid with the top girl pouring a V into the bottom guys mouth.
To say that all resources were pushed to their absolute limits to get this pumping is a laughable understatement. We’ve gone through 45 degree heat, hail, a flood and hit a massive kangaroo on the road. RIP big guy. Planners, designers, builders, logistics, printers, digi marketing, data, social, camera and event crew working around the clock to make the show roll on. We used a combination of Open Air and Classic booths which are all fully branded.
Everyone loves V’s marketing, especially us. How good is their latest hip hop ad! At every uni, we’re the massive hit, that improves you a bit. Or more specifically, be a bit better at taking selfies.
There are quite a few parched teens with foggy heads in the crowd losing it when they see the V marquee. So if you’re at a uni and you spot the sea of green, stop by, quench your thirst, have some fun in the booth and maybe take home the $1,000 to spend on rent and food, obviously 😉
