Real Wedding Feature – Mr & Mrs Wood

By Gavin Lawrence

Blue Steel Booths has worked with hundreds of brides and grooms to help them capture the love, excitement and sentiments of their family and friends on their big day. We’ve enjoyed fantastic experiences, working in stunning venues all across the country, with some absolutely lovely people. They never cease to amaze us with all of the unique styles, bespoke elements and thoughtful finishing touches – making every wedding an extraordinary fête.

So we’ve decided to showcase some of our favourite weddings here, for our prenuptially preoccupied readers!

Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Holly and Richard, celebrating their wedding at The In & Out Naval and Military Club. A stunning evening – and if our photo booth pictures were any indication – everyone had an absolute blast!

We caught up with Holly, enjoying the glow of newly-wed bliss, to get all the juicy details on her big day.

Before our wedding, I was most anxious about…

everyone enjoying themselves and me and my hubby relaxing and taking every last moment in.

An unforgettable moment on the big day was…

there were many! Probably the most unexpected and unplanned moment was when my husband and his friends broke out into song and serenaded me on the dance-floor at the end of the night. Very impressive!

Something special we did to put our unique touch on the day was…

the photobooth was an excellent addition to our special day and we managed to keep it a surprise, so our guests were really excited about it! We also liked our “guest-book” table, which was an old school desk that we asked people to sign (and draw on!)

Now that it’s over, I wish I had known…

that all the silly little things really don’t matter, like if your hair falls out of place or that extra pair of flat shoes for dancing…I ended up in bare feet for most of the day!
