On Saturday, the 10th of August, Emma and Iain invited Blue Steel Booths up to Crazy Bear Stadhampton in gorgeous Oxfordshire to help them celebrate in style on their big day!

We recently had the pleasure of catching up with Emma – although she admits that her feet haven’t touched the ground since getting back from honeymoon! Catch a glimpse inside Emma and Iain’s big day and score some excellent wedding advice from the lovely bride herself…

Before our wedding, I was most anxious about…

not being able to get everything set up on the day (I had only an hour and a half to do everything!) and reading my own vows. I’m not an openly emotional person so I was terrified to read something so personal in front of all my friends and family!

An unforgettable moment on the big day was…

my Dad bursting into song at the start of his speech!! He didn’t plan it at all but was so nervous that he decided to do it spur of the moment in order to “grab the crowd’s attention” – everyone loved it!!

Something special we did to put our unique touch on the day was…

as my husband and I got together at Glastonbury I made all our order of service to look like festival programs, was brilliant to see all the guests wandering around with them on their necks all day! Also I have to say booking the photo booth was a fab idea – some of my favourite pictures of the day are from the booth!

Now that it’s over, I wish I had known…

how quickly the day passes. People try and tell you it will fly by, but you don’t really understand what they mean until you’re there. Also I’d have booked a wedding planner! My morning was so stressful, instead of relaxing with my girls I was running around the venue in my rollers and dressing gown trying to finish things off… meaning I didn’t really absorb what was happening to me until about 15 minutes before I was due to walk down the aisle.
